Attempting to train those who are resistant to learning new things doesn't have to be agonising. Here’s how L&D professionals can effectively enforce their L&D program.

    Another tip is to identify your firelighters and use the to promote the learning opportunity. Firelighters are the people who have influence with their colleagues and peers - they ignite those around them. They can light good fires or bad fires on behalf of the learning so you engage with them early on (perhaps even as SMEs, address their concerns proactively and even involve them in the roll out (as co-facilitators or post-workshop coaches), then they'll ignite good fires in those around them - even the reluctant learners.
