There are some ‘worrying trends’ involving leadership development in Australian business, according to a new survey.

    I tend to agree with most of the article however “We all need to invest in on-the-job mentoring and coaching to ensure the next generation of managers have both the basics and the experience to become great Australian leaders of tomorrow.”
    This implies that our leaders today are good at leading and know what they are doing. The trouble with on-the-job mentoring and coaching is that it can perpetuate poor leadership practices.
