Some companies might be shooting themselves in the foot by abandoning performance ratings, suggests a recent study.

    The correct use of 'performance reviews' is 'post performance action'. In other words management have to know what they are required to do precisely before you can start the process of reviewing. The corporate university blueprint process defines exactly what action needs to be taken in real time and the reviewing process is an after the event measure.
