Any ideas for helping people to concentrate on e-learning courses?

Hi Rebecca, there are many strategies for keeping learners engaged in their e-learning courses. You can use audio, diagrams, videos, gaming concepts, interactions and scenarios just to name a few. The idea is to design your e-learning course so that it challenges the learner at every stage rather than just asking them to click to the next slide until the final multiple choice quiz.

I have a question on this topic as well. If you are systems training and use audio but nothing moves on the screen for a minute, i believe you should add text to accommodate the visual learner, but does that text need to be word for word or an abbreviated version of what is being said. I don't think my brain could synthesize the audio and the abbreviated version at the same time.
