Federal public servants should be given compulsory training in relation to domestic violence, argues a new report.

The Victorian Public Sector EBA, signed off in May this year, includes family violence leave.
The EBA states that departments nominate and train contact officers to support those experiencing family violence.
Converge International has partnered with departments to provide this training which has been well received. Training to support nominated contact officers, managers and HR business partners is a great step towards building on both the state and federal governments commitment to creating communities free from violence.
